A CPD training event in relation to youth defendants will be delivered by Just for Kids Law and the Youth Justice Legal Centre (website links below) remotely via Zoom on Saturday 27th Feb (11.00-14.00) and Tuesday 2nd March (17.00-20.00). The course will carry 6 hours of CPD and will be of interest to all advocates dealing with children in the criminal justice system. The training complies with the requirement to self-certify as being sufficiently trained to deal with matters in the youth court when renewing practising certificates.
The Western Circuit will subsidise places on this course for members of circuit between £50-£100 per delegate depending on numbers booking.
