Election of Circuit Leader

Ministry of Justice Consultation - Preserving and Enhancing the Quality of Criminal Advocacy

Butterfield Scholarship 2016

Circuit invites applications for the Butterfield Scholarship for the pupil intake commencing Autumn 2016.  The scholarship funds an additional pupillage for a set of chambers on Circuit, where the pupil will be supervised by practitioner(s) practising predominantly in publically-funded work, and provides an award of up to £12,000 and a place on Circuit's pupil training courses.  The full Scheme and Criteria for the Scholarship can be found here, and an application form can be downloaded here.

Wine Treasurer Elect

Circuit is delighted to announce that Kate Lumsdon of 23 Essex Street has been elected as the Wine Treasurer elect.  She will take up her post in October when the term of office of Corinne Searle comes to an end.  Circuit would like to express its huge gratitude to Corinne for all that she has done as Wine Treasurer.
